This is an introductory level programme for business owners, managers and team leaders who want to artificial intelligence can be used responsibly within the workplace.

This short practical course will introduce learners to the main principles of responsible AI and the purpose of the EU AI Act. Participants will be introduced to key AI Act concepts, including risk-based regulation, AI literacy, transparency, human oversight and the importance of using AI in a fair, safe and accountable way.

The course will also outline simple steps organisations can take to begin preparing for responsible AI use. This may include creating internal AI usage guidelines, reviewing how staff are using AI tools, identifying higher-risk use cases, improving awareness across teams, and ensuring that human judgement remains central to important decisions.
By the end of the session, participants will have a stronger understanding of how to approach AI compliance in a practical business context and how to begin building responsible AI habits within their organisation.
